On the last day of going to my site school it was their field day, so when we got there they were watching a movie. While that was going on Miss Sandel was telling all the students to go the back and that I wasn't allowed. When the movie was over they gave me cards that they had made, along with a bigger card with all of their thumb prints. I couldn't help, but to think how much I would miss all of them and their hugs and the silly things they said on their cards made it even harder. I hope that I have made a difference in their lives as they have made on mine.

Reflection
Knowing this is my last week and that I will probably never see my kids is hard. I'm going to miss them, but I know God will be with them and that they have a great future ahead of them in this school! These are a unique and amazing bunch of kids and I hope that this won't be the last time to see them.

- NASA App I would be able to teach my first graders about space and what different things are found.
- Splash Math is a fun way to help first graders in improving their math skills.
- Desert Habitat First Graders would learn about the different animals that live in the desert and how they survive.

What Teachers Want Parents To Know
Something teachers need parents to understand is that the students don't always act the same at school than as they do at home. They need to be taught respect and integrity everywhere they go, not just at home. Another thing, is that they shouldn't disrespect the teachers in front of any students including their own children. It is not right and it is setting a bad example to all of them that the students will carry on for the rest of their lives. Teachers aren't as mean as parents think.
"Parents as partners rather than persecutors" means to me that the student will be able to have a better opportunity in life. The student won't be given special treatment, but instead will be held to a higher standard making, him/her more successful in life. The teachers won't have to constantly be timid about what they do or constantly have parent teacher conferences, because the parent believes that their child is a perfect little angel and won't believe that they talk back. It not only benefits the teacher to become a better one, but the student to develop good morals. Don't know how to teach your kids good morals and need a little help? Click here.

Rules
"We are a family" signifies how as a class they can succeed by respecting each other. If you were family hopefully you wouldn't knock each other down. I think he placed a lot of importance on this rule, because when your a family you listen and work better with each other beyond how just classmates connect.
1. Don't talk while the teacher or others are talking.
2. Respect others
3. Don't lie, honesty is the best way out!:)
4. Be on time
5. Control yourself making rude comments
6. Don't act immaturely

The High Cost of Education
I plan to pay for college through as many scholarships as possible. Throughout the summer I plan to apply for many of them and continue throughout senior year. I am completely relying on scholarships and will hopefully be getting a job soon to also help lift the dream of going to the best school possible. A job will surely give me more confidence about where I'm going and how I plan not to be in debt.
In terms of signing up for scholarships I have not done enough. Although, in terms of trying my best and volunteering I believe I have done enough to be able to show that I use my time wisely and make the best of it. I've made sure to be in at least one challenging course and to keep myself busy to make sure I'm not giving up my time to useless things. I'm going to try to receive as much income for college as possible and am not going to worry about being in debt, but keep going forward. FAFSA is something I will be able to sign up next year, as for this year I plan to sign up for other scholarships.

Creativity Counts
Creativity is something all of us have. It's art, music, singing, creating a symphonic piece. It's creating a new programs for computers. Most of all it's shining out what your good at.
Creativity is important in education, because it shows who you are as an individual and makes you stand out. It makes your mind flow and without creativity nothing would ever be invented.

Hire me, please!
1. For an interview I believe that I would have trouble by forgetting what I would say. My strength would be dressing up and being on perfect time, because if it's that important it's not likely of me to look sloppy or be late.
2. I can overcome my weaknesses by watching videos on youtube that show how to answer questions in an interview while still being yourself. I can accentuate my strengths by dressing up nice while having a great posture and a good handshake.
3. I have never applied for a job, but if I ever did I would make sure to put all truth.

Digital Learning Day
1. prezi.com
I would use prezi as a tool in the classroom by telling the kids to look up their most favorite fact about space and tell them to look up a picture about that fact. Then I would create a prezi and put each of their facts and pictures to show the class. On prezi you can sign up for free or sign up for other futures for an additional charge. When you sign up for the free account you put your first and last name, email, and a password.
2. In my statistics class we used a program where we saw how normal models changed their distribution.

Make It Happen-2012!
1. I want to spend more time with my family this year. During the course of this past year I had not been organized with my time. I am going to spend less time on the computer and doing things that are unimportant. All of that time spent will go to my family and me being able to be closer to my siblings and the rest of my family.
2. This past semester I didn't turn in everything on time, but I have been getting better. This semester I not only want to turn my work in on time, but also improve more on my work. Each six weeks I will make a goal on what and what not to do so that by the last six weeks I will have prepared myself to be a better student. Next year will be an even better year and I will have even higher goals to attain.
3. Out of everything I want to change, I mostly want to be closer to God. I want to have a better relationship with God and do what he has called me to do in life. To get closer to him I will set him first in my life. By doing that I will see what he wants me to see and I will change lives and be bolder.

The Ideal Classroom
My ideal classroom would be structured with educational displays on the walls and words of encouragement from poets. The students would be collaborating constantly, while growing their communication skills still staying on topic. High tables with tall soft chairs would conform with the corners. Bright inviting chairs would invite the students to learn new things. It would be more like them looking a random thing they were interested in.
