My First Week as a Teacher....

I am an intern at Foster Village Elementary with Ms. Sandel's first grade class.

As I walk in they are finishing up their english sentences and start with math. When I leave they are getting ready to go to another class. On my first day I was a little nervous and not sure exactly how the little kids would react or what my teacher was like. It was cute though how when I was in there all of them wanted to sit by me and talk to me. I am excited for this forthcoming year to discover what it really is like to be a teacher and get a better perspective on a teacher's view. I would like to gain a sense of how to treat them and know who they are, so that I may be a better teacher. I like being with the little ones and help teach them and be a part of their path up the steps of education and their life.
